2.5" leveling kit too high on my 07 f150
This picture is of a 2004 f150 with a 2.5" kit and was the look I was going for. I searched a lot of threads before deciding on my 2.5" leveling kit. It seemed like all the pics I had seen the 2.5 sat perfectly level.
I dont have a picture but my truck turned out noticeably higher in the front by almost 1". Anyone else had this problem? The only post I came across about this is that the earlier trucks had more of a rake and the 06+ didnt. I have an 07 f150. What was different about them?

Took some pics of my truck with the 2.5" hell bent leveling kit. Why does mine look so different than the others? It seems like the rear on my truck might sit lower. Is there an easy way to gain an 3/4" in the rear?

Did you measure your truck before you bought the kit? I have a 2" on my 08, and it's level. Some people have said the rake is less on the 07 -08s than the 04- 06s

I measured before deciding on the 2.5 kit, but I dont remember what the numbers were. I know the numbers made it seem like it was going to end up slightly high. I was ultimately convinced by all the trucks I saw with the 2.5 kit looking good. I actually didnt find out until after putting the kit on that the earlier trucks had more of a stock rake to begin with. Somewhere I read that the 06+ lack an extra leaf in the rear. Not sure if this is true?
What actually determines that the truck is level? The distance between the tires and the fenders? The front fenders are higher than the rear by about 5/8" on one side and 3/4" on the other. However, I set a level on the bed rail and it shows perfectly level. I then measured that indented crease running along side of the truck to the ground and it actually showed the front is 1/8" lower than the rear.
If we're going off fenders for level, lets say I add 1" to the rear. The rear fenders will be about 3/8" higher than the front. I just want to be careful and not accidentally add too much rear lift bringing it back to the stock raked look.
Will add a leafs make it ride harder? What about 1" spacer blocks on top of the factory blocks? They are on ebay for like $65.

Look for a slightly inverted arch on your leaf springs at the axle perches.. If you see this slight "sag" in the leaf where it should be curved then the leaf packs are tired.. It's normal.
An AAL or new leaf packs will fix it, and a bigger lift block (no stacking!) will hide it..

Ford changed something in the rear suspension on these trucks in 2006, and I think it was the height of the rear block. Generally speaking with an '04-05 you want a 2.5" level, with an '06-08 you want a 2", or a 2.5" level + bigger spacer in rear...
My current setup has it nose down approx 1" due to overly soft Rancho springs and a winch setup on the truck. I suspect you may not be going for that total look / package and just want a level. If you already have a 2.5" installed up front, I would try to get my hands on a 2004-2005 4x4 rear block set with the blocks and the longer U bolts. It will give you the stance you are looking for, for a lot less hassle and money. Lots of folks with the newer trucks retrofit the older block set just to get that added .5" anyway. It makes a difference!
Another issue that might be at play is worn / sagging rear leaf springs. An Add A Leaf will pick the tail up where it should be. If you really are 1" higher in front with a 2.5" level kit, I suspect leaf springs, there should only be 1/2" not a full inch... Autospring makes some good ones.
Oh, for what it's worth, here is what that very same truck looks like now...
