Default 18x9 5" backspace 0 offset?

Just got a 2007 XLT. It is leveled already. I want to put a set of 18x9 pro comp 7032 wheels. They have a 5" backspace and 0 offset. Will 295/70 nitro trails fit with this combo?

Fit? Yes, but they will rub bad when you turn. I would recommend +18 or higher offset and even those will still require trimming. 0 is pretty aggressive offset.

Damn. Alright. I read the wheel fitment thread, and it didn't talk much about offset. What will negative vs. Positive offset do for me?

Positive stuffs em under the truck more, negative pushes em out further.

With that being said, I'm running 18x9 monsters with a-12 offset and have 295/70r18 trail grapplers. You will have to do some trimming but unless your staring at your wheel wells all the time who cares.

Your truck looks tough man! That way I want. How is your clearance when off roading with it already being that close? Maybe I should go 285s...

Wouldn't I want a negative offset to bring the wheels out?

Haha thanks man! Off roading does just fine on the places I can get to that are open around here. If you serious into it though I'd recommend maybe 285s for a little more flexing room. OR possibly a different offset then mine. If your going to flex your truck suuuuper hard.. My setup(offset) may not be best.

Not to be nitpicky but wherever you were looking to buy those wheels at has their specs way off. A 0mm offset on a 9" wide wheel would be 4.5" backspacing. If it does indeed have a 5" backspace than it has about a +12mm offset. So you might want to contact the place to get the true specs so you can decide if those tires will fit.
