Default +12 or -12 offset?

Which wheel offset should I go with to fit 35s? Keep in mind I like the tire and wheel sticking out look.

I know for a fact the 35/12.5r18s will not fit with a -12 offset. I'm pretty sure I'm running the largest tire for that offset(295/70r18). The +12 offset shouldn't have issues though, it's a 5.5"BS.

Your tires will for sure stick out still just not as much as the -12. I think they'll stick out about 1" - 1.5"

I put a -12 offset, 18" wheel with a 2.5 level on my truck and I'm running 295/70/18 trail grapplers. I had to trim a little bit of plastic still. The 35x12.50 might be a struggle with a -12 offset. If a zero offset is an option, that might be a better bet.

Agreed, i know tires very by manufacturer but when i looked for tires for my rig the 35/12.5r18 Trail Grapplers are actually over 13" wide. With the 295/70r18s(34.3") im running, they are 11.7" wide and still slightly rub... add another inch and a half.. you'll be cutting metal to fit em. Atleast with the -12 offset and only a 2.5" level. Hope this helps ya man.

I have a '04 Lariat 4x4 that I put -12mm offset wheels and a 2.5" Rough Country level kit on but was only able to fit Trail Grappler 275/70R18 on it. I still had to trim plastic to get those to fit. I think the FX4 has better clearance so you may be able to do the 295/70R18 which is what I went with initially. I would just do what I did and order the tires you want and if they don't fit have them order you the next size down.

you're going to have a ton of trimming to do to get 35x12.50's to fit with -12 mm offset and just a level. Now with a 6" lift, that's the recommended offset to fit 35x12.50's... Go with the +12mm offset, they'll still stick out and they'll clear a lot better, but I still think you'll have trimming to do with the +12's even

When I had my 05 f150 4x4 with just a leveling kit and before I put my 4.5" Superlift on I had 35" Toyo M/T with a 18x9 Pro Comp wheel with a -12 offset and they rubbed really bad. And they still rubbed a little bit even the suspension lift. If it were me I would stick with a smaller tire or plan on trimming a lot.

If you run the +12 you could probably fit a 35 with minor trimming. I have 20x9s with a +18 offset and i still trimmed a bit to fit 35s

I have an 06 xl with a 2.5 level and have 35s and plan on getting these http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...All&sort=Brand

offset is 20mm and backspacing is 5.27 you think that will be okay with some or no trimming it rubs now on the control arm and the a-arm and just want to know if these are a good pick so the rubbing would maybe not be as bad any help would be great thanks!
