Question 10000k HIDs

I bought some 10000k HIDs and im am not pleased. I want them to be bluer so im gonna order some others. What is a best brand that is really blue for under 60 or so?

I thought the blue color is more around the 8000k range, at least thats what Im gonna order...

Did you get 35 or 55 watt? Some 55 watts wash out the color, so a 35W may be the ticket for you.

I think 10000 is almost purple???

8000k is 'iceburg blue', 10000k is 'true blue'... you really can't go any more blue before you get into purple. 12000k is right on the edge. Jut remember that the higher Kelvin temp you go, the less light output you get...

OP, please tell me your truck is a show only vehicle... I honestly believe that anything cooler than 6000k has no place on our roadways. I chose 4300k for mine for two reasons - first, you get the most light output per watt, and second, the light you get actually helps you see rather than just pissing off oncoming traffic. You'd be better off with halogens and old wiring than 55w 10000k HIDs when it comes to actually identifying road hazards and getting good throw out of your lights.

You could go 12000 but you're gettin in to purple there...

Oh, and brand doesnt matter, they all use the same scale because there is only 1 scale. Atleast there is supposed to be.
