Default 09+ conversion

ok I've been searching this for days and can't find a straight answer. Some people say all the things line up perfect and will bolt right on others say it requires tons of fab work. I know you will need hood, grille, bumper, fenders, headlights, and if you want to to the back you have to get the new tailgate and it requires an 09+ bed to fit the taillights. I plan on just doin the front end but would love to have some good info. If anybody knows of a kit made to do this or someone who has done it with pictures that would be great thanks!

I don't understand the point of doing this, by the time you spend the money on the kit and painting it. You could sell your curent truck and buy a used 09 a decent amount of mileage for about the same

Yeah but the only one I could find was pre runner style which I'm not a big fan of.

sell your truck and buy 09+ if your not happy with it don't ruin a perfectly fine truck that someone else would be happy with because your not.

By rights of your logic you should sell your truck and buy one the way it is.

I've also heard they line up, but I've also heard they moved the pillars. It seems to come from 09+ owners who are bull because they're trucks aren't really all that different, minus the drivetrain. If you compare interiors everything is in the same place.
I can't really blame them tho, I was a little cocky when I had my brand new truck too.
