what type of programmer should i get i have a 04 fx4 screw 5.4.... theres alot out there im just not sure what works the best.... i like the edge, mainly because of the dash mount.....btw do they work good on gasoline engines....i know there amazing on diesel

 

They don't work AS GOOD on a gas, but they are still worth it. If you want a dash mount pod. Get a gryphon from powerhungryperformance.com. Basically it's a wolf in sheeps clothing. It's a rebuilt edge, that can be custom tuned to match the add-ons you have, compared to the edge which is a canned tune and is made only for stock vehicles.


Don't waste you money on an edge. I have one because I got it in a trade, when I start getting more add-ons it's getting shipped to php where they can turn it into a gryphon and then custom tune it.

 

X2 on the no Edge and getting something else. The Gryphon is a good choice and SCT is great too.
