Default 07 Front suspension problem?

I have 07 supercrew fx4. I have had both springs replaced. Dealer said struts were fine on front. When i hit a bump with left wheel it feels like i'm bottoming out and feels like no suspension at all on left front. They replaced both springs because one was broke. Could anything other than strut be causing this. It is really annoying and i had a 02 f150 with shocks and torsion bars on it. It rode so much better than this truck. It is a shame. Any input anyone has would be great.

Bad ball joints and control arm bushings will do that. I had that problem. Rides like new now. Get greasable ones so they ne'er go bad again. Did you check your away bar link bushings also?

You would think if the dealer replaced the coil springs...they would of checked everything else...take it back and tell them it's still doing the same thing...

They usually do but obviously something is wrong still and I would definitely try those out. Check out this video. It says how to diagnose noises but he also shows how to find certain suspension problems by testing. Hope this helps

or just check it out yourself. jack her up and give it a wiggle, check your stabilizer bar links and bushings as well.

when checking the ball joints you need to unload them. take a jack and put it right under the lower control arm and then wiggle. if you dont unload the ball joint it wont show any play.

I've been through the whole going back to the dealer thing and not getting any answers. Should i buy new upper control arms and new lower control bushings and lower ball joints and just try that. Would it be smart to replace both sides all at once. The side i'm having the problem with is the same side that had the broke coil spring. The dealer only replaced the one untill i complained about it and then they replaced the other one. But it really does feel like there is no suspension on the front left side. Everything to me looks visual fine. Does factory upper ball joint have a grease sert. Looks like mine does. THanks for responses.

There were no grease fittings on my truck, or any ford I've had. The new lower ball joints have them. My new sway bar end links have fittings now, as well.

what do you mean it feels like there is no suspension? are you saying it feels like its bottoming out?

if thats the case how many miles on the truck and when was the last time you replaced your shocks? are there an witness marks on the control arms from bump stomps?

normally nothing has zerks fitting from factory. usually all aftermarket parts, like moog have zerks fitting.
