Hi fordpower,

Did you notice a difference when you installed the Throttle Body?

If so, how in terms of power and fuel mileage.

By the way, this is my first post here and wanted to check in with you guys.
Thanks!

Smile throttle bodie

i put on the throttle bodie, cold air kit, mass air flow sensor, on first together and made a huge difference but it was sucking to much air and not leaving fast enough out the exhaust so then put on a low restrion exhaust on and that made a huge difference to, then finally just put on the edge programmer and with all that good under the hood lost 2 seconds off my 0 to 60 run from stock to stage 3 and ran a 14.2 1/4 mile time on stage 3. If u free up the intake and the exhaust on these motors because of ford limiting the power ,u will see a difference. I ran my truck on the dyno by were i live and i'm almost at 400 horse to rear tires and i didn't have to spend 6,000 grand on a supercharger

This is very true, but if you are gonna free it up...free it ALL up. Otherwise, you are just bottling up all that restriction somewhere else.

That is the closest time to my 13.88 I've heard of yet. A worthy adversary maybe? We should go head to head after you tweak that baby the right way.

Default true

That is true and don't worry i have a set a full length headers on the way but lose that gibson exhaust i had it on my truck the super sport and the split rear and both sounded ok but lost power on the dyno and on the road, if it was a dodge then keep it on but flowmaster is the way to go, and that 14.2 that i ran was on a slow reaction time at the track and then tire spin also it is well capable to run u down and with the extra goodies going on soon be able to run a low 13 and smoke u

Very COOL! Thanks for the reply..

Seem like I'm heading into the right direction.

At the moment, I already did the Roush Cold Air Intake (did not seem to gain much from there) so I'm looking on doing the exhaust now. So I guess it would be good to consider the throttle body as well.

Question for you: What type of Exhaust did you end up getting?

Also, how did all these affect your fuel mileage?

Thanks again guys!
