Thanks. I have the release tool. That wasn't the issue. The issue was the L-shaped T that connects to the fuel line. The joint where the T is attached to the rail must be a weak point because I'm guessing I damaged it with all the pulling and moving around. Fuel started squirting from the joint.

In any case, the issue still remains. When I start to accelerate after just cruising, I have a grumble and loss of power. Any chance it's the VCT solenoid?

Update: I swapped the VCT solenoids back in April, but that didn't solve the problem I was having. Back in April, a mechanic drove it for 5 minutes but didn't have time to actually diagnose the issue because I just showed up. He thought it might be an intake leak, but wouldn't say for sure without smoking the intake and running further diags.

The CEL came on today and the truck is throwing a P0430 Catalytic System Deficiency code. I read one article that said an intake leak might lead to an issue with the cats. What do you think?
