06 bumper on 05

Default 06 bumper on 05

This is the bumper I want but it says 06 and up so what parts will I need to make it fit

I would say yes. The best have is to check with the seller or a ford dealer. Just call and ask to see if the bumpers will work. I just put tow mirrors on my 05. Online it said only 07-14 but it worked fine. I would start there.

Hey man. I work at Lexus in Parts in Vegas and I just called my buddy at ford. It is the same. No change for the REAR, Front changed fogs lights.

Yea but something with the support system changed I thought.. Something about a 2 bolt or 3 bolt system

Ya not sure, I called with no vin and the numbers was the same.

They changed the front and rear bumpers between 05 and 06. Both got new mounting points/hardware, but only the fronts actually changed cosmetically.

Swapping to an 06 OEM rear bumper is doable. But the bumper in your link will likely not be a direct fit. I'm sure with a little bit of work it will, though. They just don't want to advertise it as fitting since some modifications to it and/or your truck would need to be done.

Well I'm pretty mechanically inclined and I know a guy that could weld some new brackets if need be but I just wanna know what kinda modification I would need
