There's a specific driving sequence you have to do to satisfy the monitors to clear the P1000 code, so that it's ready for emissions testing.

 

We don't have emissions tests here.

 

your truck should have parameters to emissions to run properly...

 

Even thought you don't have emissions... your truck needs to run correctly.

I think it's been driven enough since then , I have no check engine light's ,and it runs better than it ever has since I bought it. Next replace the rest of the plugs & coil boots , figure out the windshield leak , fix the cruise and brake light indicator issue.

 

P1000 just means the truck hasn’t completed self tests. Mine took almost 1000 miles before it cleared.
