Default 05 2WD Grinding Noise

I have a 05 2WD 4D that makes a grinding noise when you turn hard left. It does not make the noise going down the road or with a slight left turn. However turn into the driveway or through a tight drive through and boy its there. Could not find much on here about 2WD making noise but I was wondering do you think its my bearing going bad in the hub? I was told I have to replace the entire hub because the bearing is not sold seperatly, is this true. Any help would be much appreciated want to try and fix tomorrow.

Default I've heard/had the same problem several times

Thats what I've had happen a few times, failure of the wheel bearing. But now just like you I know what the problem is as soon as I hear it. I've only got 76,000 miles on mine and an on the forth set of front rotors/bearings - (Integrated /cartridge bearing hub 2WD). Hope the newer Trucks have a better Idea because I think what we have is crap.
