I researched the Gott's Mod and came across a video on YouTube where the guy who did the mod on his truck found that leaves and other debris tend to get sucked in. Don't know if you saw that but you might want to add a screen or something in the fender .

Maybe I'm just lucky but I haven't had any problems after installing a K&N 77 series intake. I have an Edge Evolution tuner and have no codes being thrown. I wonder if the people who have trouble with CAIs unhooked the battery before installing. When you hook it back up after installing, the computer adjusts to the new intake, and then after installing the Edge, it considers the new CAI to be the original. At least that's the impression I get from the instructions for installing the CAI & unhooking the battery.........I could be (and probably am) wrong. Either way, I haven't had any troubles with the K&N and Edge.

My 350 rancher don't make mine squat, at least not in this pic for some reason lol truck way back when I only had it for a few months, no tint, rims, or halos lol only thing after market was my 33's, 2" leveling kit, and 3" rear blocks
