I researched the Gott's Mod and came across a video on YouTube where the guy who did the mod on his truck found that leaves and other debris tend to get sucked in. Don't know if you saw that but you might want to add a screen or something in the fender .

When you hook it back up after installing, the computer adjusts to the new intake, and then after installing the Edge, it considers the new CAI to be the original. At least that's the impression I get from the instructions for installing the CAI & unhooking the battery.........I could be (and probably am) wrong. Either way, I haven't had any troubles with the K&N and Edge.
Wouldn't consider K&N one of the top CAI's but tey do serve their purpose.. When you get into volant, S&B and a few others you may or may not end up with a drone.. Custom tuning got rid of the issue.. I never ran lean before the custom tune either..

I think that maybe it was a combination of the airaid and my straight pipe exhaust that may have caused it to make the vibration. Also my uncle is a master tech for ford and he said he had seen them do some weird **** that sometimes can't be answered. Hahaha
