Not hard at all, I just cut the grille alittle below where the light is, its a tight fit. I didn't use the rubber grommet that comes with them.

Haven't done anything to my truck in the past few month, but last night I ordered my Harley headlights! Will also be ordering a new grille in the next few days. Leaning towards the saleen, but still debating on the mesh riveted grille.
