Yep just left them in. They ended up darker than I wanted. The first coat did strange things. When I sprayed in on it pulled away from some spots on the lights, as if they had an oil film on them or something. But I had cleaned them so I'm not sure. I ended up have to give them another coat to cover. Still not perfectly even but not to bad. With this light a coat on the head lights I doubt I'll notice anything. When the lights are on you can't even see that there is any night shade on them. Stock 20's, with 285x55r20's. They measure 32. New tires will be 33's.

Plasi dip for now. Paint to come later on. I was scared of how it was going to look so I used plasi dip for now. Once it wants to peel Ill use dupi color probably. Mine didn't cost $40. Lol I painted them. Tape them off then very very carefully cut out around the "ford". The letters stand out so it works pretty good. Just take your time. I left them in place to do it.

I plastidip'd the whole emblem with many coats. Had the Ford logo cut in white vinyl, much easier and faster as I'm lazy. Looked good also. It never ever peeled.

Yep I have seen that done. It looks good and I can see it would be easier. I wanted the Ford in chrome though. So I went to work on it.

I just wire wheeled mine down till it was bare... painted it white.. let it dry.. masked and cut out the ford lettering and painted them black.. was a little time consuming but worth it
