Maybe because I've never done it before, but I'd be scared ****less to drive my truck on the beach. I've seen too many fail photos lol

The sand was super sloppy and made me nervous to drive on. Recovery costs are around $2000 if you get stuck. We were going to drive half way to the 30 mile mark but chickened out at 10 miles...

That's why you keep friends with 4x4 trucks and recovery gear. Lol. That sand down on the National Seashore does get pretty nasty if you catch it on the wrong day, have the wrong tires, or are 2x4. Went out there one time for a fire and some fishing when I lived down there. Driving past all the warning signs is a little nerve wracking. Lol
