Any type of leveling kit or strut can void you upper and lower ball joint, tie rod, and CV warranty, depending on what the dealership feels like doing. (I wouldn't warranty anything with a level on it) Maybe your particular dealership is crazy enough to say a 3" leveling kit is okay, but I'd even doubt that. I'm not saying you're lying about being told that, but if I put a 3" on a brand new truck and brought it back to your dealership with a trashed front end after 6 months, I'd bet $1k they'd laugh at me and make me pay for a new front end. They're WAY too much for the front end. Some people can't even get their truck back together and/or aligned after installing a 3".
The increase in wear is absolutely not worth it. Wear depends on each kit being different, how old the ball joints are, how old the coils are, how the truck is used, etc. I chose a 2" cause I don't even like the angles on a 2.5". Take one look at the angles on 3" and I'd bet you'll think they look horrible.

Did the dealer put the leveling kit on or did you do it outside like at your house or a aftermarket shop put it on?

Some dealerships will install and warranty leveling kits if you have them install it, but neither of the ones I go to will do that. But if you got them to do it for a 3", you'll have successfully "pulled one over on em" lol.

no problem man. it'll take a little fab work, and you'll need injectors. if you ever decide to do head, Trick Flow has a set of twisted wedge street heads. I'm going to get the STS twin turbo kit for my truck, little over 7200 for everything.
