Default 04-08 pos

6k in repairs and I haven't even got 3k miles out of it.... Phasers...timing....coils..... Broken plugs...fpdm.....blah blah blah, and now it's in the shop for p0300.... Nice code!! It's gone when I get it back!

I could probably find $6k worth of things to replace on any vehicle that old.

04 to 08 produced a 4.6L as well and I have to say they are pretty much bulletproof IMO. Love these trucks but the 5.4 was troublesome to say the least!

$8,500 in repairs and counting for my 2005 w/ 86k miles at purchase (currently has 88.5k).

Still love that ****. Of course I've paid less than $1,000 of those repairs.

Yup I hear ya. I owned one prior to this truck and had nothing but trouble. In the end I just learned to live with the issues but that was short lived so I sold the POS and went with the 4.6. Love the truck I have now. Its been nothing but good to me and runs like a champ!

Same thing here. The switch from 5.4 - 4.6 was like a breath of fresh air hah
