Default Your opinions!!

I finally found a picture of a truck that has what I want to do but not sure how it will turn out! I want to paint the mirrors, grille, emblems, tow hooks, wheels, and thinking about the running boards all white Yao match the truck. and then the ford emblems in front and back tan to match the bottom. Also going to pull out the rear block and put a 2 inch level on the front. I have some pics of the truck I found and then mine. The truck I found is just to show all the paint I'm not looking for that lift or wheels.

Yeah, that top truck is ugly as sin.

Your's looks much better. Might swap out the black running boards to chrome nerf bars with big black treads to tire in the grill and the shiny bits in the black wheels. Otherwise, I would not change a thing. Looks good.

This is what I think you should do...

1. Level
2. Keep rear block.
3. Swap wheels (not a fan, you asked for opinions)
4. Slightly larger tires.
5. PTM Grill
6. Remove Steps

I think I feel what you are trying to do but not sure I would paint to match all those items with your two-tone. Your truck looks good and so I echo some of the earlier suggestions, but this is what I would do:

1. Replace your grille with a paint-to-match (white) surround and satin/chrome insert (aka, Platinum or Limited grille)
2. Replace your black wheels with chrome ones so they work with the two-tone paint, or even better would be a set of Limited white/machined wheels
3. Go with 2-inch leveling system with larger tires (Cooper LTZs would look killer with my suggestions) and keep rear block
3. Replace your black sidesteps with chrome ones
4. Replace your black tow hooks with chrome ones
5. Paint to match mirrors and emblems would look good

That may be more money than you planned, but you also have some money you can get out of your current wheels/tires/steps/grille that may make things more doable.

Anyway, just my opinion!

This is just my opinion but you asked. I would just do the grille surround or buy one already painted and call it a day. Completely painted mirrors looks awful to me. I'm not even a big fan of the cap being painted. On certain colors it looks great though.

But again, that's me. And its your truck, do what makes you happy.

Opinion....top truck sucks. Your truck while very nice is a little busy ( 2 tone, chrome, black wheels.) I think you need to pick a theme. Maybe a Harley grille to cut down on the in your face chrome or just leave your truck as is with maybe a chrome wheel to keep the stock appearance flowing right.

I had a 10 lariat. It's hard to make them look rugged (black wheels, aggressive tires etc) on certain colors without changing a few things such as PTM bumpers. Even harder on a 2 tone. 2 tone to me screams luxury. Lightly tinted windows with chrome 20's or the 6 spoke alloys would settle everything in right I think.

Personally, if I had a two tone I would copy this. It is so bad ***.
