I bought an aftermarket lookalike workalike unit off Amazon. It works pretty good but I think I'll eventually go with the OEM stuff if I can find all the parts cheap enough.

Trying to accomplish the same with my XLT. Starting with plastidip over PTM though until the weather warms up and if I get a good price from my friend. I also want rivet fender flares, but there's a few less expensive brands compared to Bushwacker.
At first I cheaped out on my build and didn't follow my vision, I regretted doing that and ended up building again and costing myself more money than if I would have just did what I wanted to begin with. As long as you stick to what's in your head you'll be happy. Best of luck to you, sounds like you have a good plan on what you want!
