Default XLT Chrome Pkg

The XLT chrome package comes with 18" wheels and 265/60-18 tires (30.5" dia). The standard XLT tires are 265/70-17 (31.7" dia). With the same gearing, the tires will give me a lower final drive ratio. This will help for towing and starts. Maybe even help with city MPGs. I'm wondering how much this is going to hurt my highway gas mileage.

those are 4x2 tire sizes according to the brochure. 4x4 in your signature, you should have p275/65/18 unless you have off-road pkg.

I have an Screw 5.0 with 3.55 gears with the 265/60/18 Michelins, and I got 21.7 mpg on my first road trip at 70 mph. I routinely get 17-18 mpg in my normaly daily driving which consists of approximately 80/20 city/highway.
