I used X-Plan on my truck and it was the way to go. Make the deal so much easier, no haggle or other garbage to deal with. I usually drive dealerships nuts with nego, but the xplan price was right-on and was hard to argue with. That and all the incentives too, good deal!

I used the X plan to get my truck and was very happy in my buying situation. When I first was looking, the dealer offered some trucks to me at invoice price, probably because he was trying to move some stuff off the lot. I didn't want anything off the lot, so this allowed me some leverage and comfort as I was able to order what I wanted, and still get a great price without having to haggle/negotiate. If you can get a better price without the x plan, go for it, but if you want something specific, you'll probably need it.
