Default Which would you choose?

Assuming the price is the same.

09 4x4 King Ranch 35k miles - Fully loaded (leather, nav, moonroof, etc). Only addition is a toolbox.
10 4x4 FX4 35k miles - Fully loaded (leather, nav, moonroof, etc). Additions include toolbox, leveling kit, ranch hand.

Both have the 5.4 and are SuperCrews. I won't mention colors because I like both colors.

I'm REALLY torn on this. As the 09 is in excellent condition and hasn't been driven as hard as the 10. However the 10 is "newer" but has more miles per year.

ooh that is tough, I'm partial to the king ranch over an FX4 personally. My #1 reason for going for the 10' would be the upgraded brakes. I'd say that's the only thing you'd notice as a difference every time you drive it. Of course, I'm basing this off hearsay. I have a 10' and two friends with an 09', they say mine drives way different.

Same prices...or you don't care about price ?? I like the leather in the King Ranch vice the FX4...you also need to look at remainder of warrenty.

I personally don't like the two tone paint of a kr or the color of the leather. That's just me tho. You should really go with the one you like. They both are out of the bumper to bumper warranty so depending on how many miles you put on it the power train warranty my not be worth much. As with my truck, I almost have 17,000 in a little over 5 months so my warranty will be up before I know it. One last thing, the main reason I didn't get the fx4 is bc it didn't have A/C seats. I know, I'm a baby haha

I realize decisions like this SUCK but at the end of the day you're the only one that can make it. The additional resale value of a KR will likely be washed out by the extra year. Feature wise they each have a unique set so it would depend what most closely matches YOUR style. Look at wear and tear of each but if you like them both I'm guessing they're similar.

The brakes ARE different (Mine is a '10 and my buddies is an '09 and they are very different) but at the end of the day both are fine and you'll get used to either after about 25 seconds of driving. I like the KR better but I like that is ME. What do YOU prefer?

Personally, i think the interior or the king ranch is tacky as all get out.

I would take the FX4

Does the gearing matter to you? The FX4 has 3:73. What does the KR have? Might make a difference for you if you tow a lot. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

Me - I'd go with the 2010.

If it was the black and tan color KR i would go with that one, but if not then the fx4, and then i would remove the brushguard.

My opinion, that King Ranch leather wouldn't last long with me. I can be a dirty man sometime.
