Does anyone here recall when they have this service for 29.95? I thought it was usually in march sometime....

There is no set timing. It's normally $39.95, and sometimes there is a $10 rebate (or $15 if you have it applied to your account for future purchases).

Maybe it was the 10$ rebate that I was thinking of that happens in March...

The Works is a good deal if they do everything they claim to do. Had to put on my spare tire, had a roofing nail in the front tire. Appears they never put air in the spare in the five years I owned the truck. Had about 8psi in the tire. Fortunately it was in my driveway and I have an air compressor.

Normally costs me about 50 bucks. My dealership does every 5th oil change free, as well as give you points for all the money you spend.

So, typically with the free oil change part added to points cash i get the works free a couple times a year. In my opinion, it's worth it for all that they do.

I remember the works for 29.99. Now it’s 49.99 in my neck of the woods

The thing I've never understood is why spare tires are mounted, valve stem up. Most be some reason, Ford and Chevy both do it. I flip my spare around so the valve stem is down. This way it's easy to check spare air anytime you're doing routine checks of your truck.

I noticed that too. I figured it was to protect it. Plus I wonder how many people actually check their spare. That number is probably quite small.

The tire is mounted that way so it won't hold as much dirt and water. Turned the other way, it can hold water.

I drop my tire 2x per year and check the air, filling it to the sidewall capacity.

And no, they aren't going to drop it and check it during The Works servicing.

I've never paid that much attention to the "dish shape" of the wheel, but I would think that the the 6 mounting holes there can't be that much difference in the amount water/dirt held.

I'll have to take a closer look at the shape.
