I found out today that when leveling get the add-a-leaf if you use your truck for what it's made for. I attempted to put a pallet of mulch in my truck and it was not having any of that. With only 36 bags it still squats a good amount. I'm running a 3" block in the rear.

Look at the Roadmaster Active Suspension too. Works wonders when loaded

I installed an extra 1 inch block with the stock and this is with 25 50 pound bags of protein.

What about airbags? Anyone have an opinion on them for this kinda situation? Wouldnt the truck with airbags ride better when unloaded vs. a truck with an add-a-leaf?

That was why I chose the airbags, never had add-a-leaf to compare them with. I definitely noticed if I left the bags pumped up when I wasn't loaded!

I removed the 1" block in the rear, and installed Firestone airbags for those times I need them. I find the rear to be a little soft anyway, so I typically leave about 10psi in the airbags when there's no load.

The ride is great...cant even tell that it has the added leaf. some people are always afraid it will stiffen the rear end, but if you get a long spring you wont have that problem

So, if you get an add a leaf, the suggestion is also to get new springs for the rear?
