Default Wont start

My truck wont start. The engine is turning over but it will not engage. Sometimes after i have released the key it will remain in the start position and the motor continues to turn over !!This is the 3rd time this has happened. The first 2 times someone kept telling me that it was to low on gas and later in the day when more gas was loaded it started. The second time i had over a 1/4th of a tank. I was tired of arguing so the last time i got gas i filled it and still have almost all of that!! Any thoughts?? I thought maybe the fuel pump or starter!!
Thanks for taking you time to try and help me!

well, what do you drive. the starter continuing to run after you release the key is completely normal.

I bet you need the fuse 27 relocation kit

That's what came to mind reading the description too. I have the Fuse 27 kit at home waiting to be installed so I can proactively fix the issue before I'm stranded.

Cheap and easy fix...

Now I'm gonna look into this fuse 27 thing, it's the first I'm reading about it.
