Default Instrument Panel Light replacement

I own a 2009 F150 Lariat. I had at least 2 lights out on my gauges and now my speedometer arm light has gone out. I pulled the whole cluster assembly out and was planning on replacing the bulbs/LEDs. I didn’t open the back of the assembly because it looked like there’s a circuit board that I don’t want to mess with. Do I have to replace the whole assembly? If so, does the new one have to be programmed for my vehicle?
