Only thing that happened during that time was my windshield cracked, replaced it and followed through with the deal when it arrived, no surprises.

OP, why did you have to give up your truck?
I gave it up because I live in South Carolina and work in Ohio. I drove home every other weekend. So I put a little over 800 miles on my truck every two weeks. I would've been racking up miles like crazy had I kept it.

Like what? I know there's a few cosmetic differences, but seems like most of the stuff is pretty similar or better. Seems like they have different bumpers, different grille, different wheels (still 22"), different headlights, and different tail lights. The interior was slightly redesigned for the 2013 F150's, so that will be different as well. The overall styling or theme of the Limited still seems to be the same to me. I think people would be kinda upset if the '13 looked just like the '11, but with different color options. The '11 looked really nice, but the '13 still needed to be differentiated in some ways.

I do wish the wheels were painted like previous years. I always thought that was one thing that really set the Limited off from the other models. The new ones did keep the 22" wheels, though, and the sport tuned suspension (whatever that really means, because I couldn't tell any difference between my dad's '08 Limited and my '08 King Ranch).

I'll let Hardcore tell you more on that one as I believe his dad has a 2011 LL and I'm not super familiar with them

That works. My dad's '08 Limited was a different animal, since it was before the redesign.

Another pretty big difference between the '11 and the '13 that I just remembered was that the '11 was only available with the 6.2L and the '13 is only available with the EcoBoost.

That's why the '13 doesn't have the HD style front bumper. The EB needs the hole in the front bumper for the intercooler.

Yes that's a huge difference. Also not sure on colors offered on the 11, I believe it was just white and possibly black but not sure. Again, not entirely sure of everything but it doesn't seem to be right

Good call. I didn't think about that.

The '13 Limited definitely doesn't have the same bumper as the '13 HD model, since it appears that the HD model isn't going to be in the lineup for '13. lol

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the '11 was only available in White Platinum Metallic Tri-Coat (same color I ordered). I'm glad the '13 Limited is coming with the EcoBoost. If it wasn't, I would've spec'd out a Platinum with the same options and added the EcoBoost. That torque is just fun! And the additional fuel economy is a big plus!

I'm pretty sure ford released a different version of the limited to compete with ram. As of 2013 ram will have a limited model. That's the only thing that makes sense to me.

While I was on the road traveling back up to Ohio for work, my dad went back up to the dealer to talk to the guy that does the ordering. He was told they can only place orders on Thursdays, which I thought sounded kinda wierd. The good news is that guy said it should be about an 8-week wait. That's better than the 10-week wait we were originally told. I'm not holding my breath, though. lol
