Angry Wire colors?

I've got a 2012 SCrew Platinum. Installed the Pop and Lock tailgate actuator. All works well, but following the directions that were included in the kit, I ran the wires into the driver's side of the truck. I found the lock wire (GY/BR), but I am unable to find the passenger (2nd stage unlock) unlock wire. I've checked every color, but the only one that I found (BL/GR) that has the unlock pulse pulses on the first AND second stage of the unlock.

I find a million things that tells me what to look at for the passenger side, but having a very difficult time finding information for the wiring on the driver's side of the truck.

I ran mine to the p.s. sill, but I would Think the ssme color wires would be on the d.s. sill as well! I have a 12 Screw as well, I tapped the Gray/Brown wire and Purple/White wire... Hope this helps.

We dug through that wiring harness for hours trying to find a purple/white that pulsed with the second press of the unlock. Finally got pissed and just hooked it up to the first button so we could move on and install the bed lights.

The purple-white wire for double-unlock is located in the passenger sill, at least on my '13.

Yeah, but I need to find the wire in the drivers side.

I don't believe you're going to. It's possible that where the wires run across the floor of the back you can find it, but I am of the belief that it is NOT located on the driver's side.

I hooked up to the driver's side. The only reason that I see for going on the passenger side is people saying it will get less use and last longer. Well, everytime I open my driver's door all my doors (and the tailgate) will unlock regardless. And when I start driving all my doors lock, and the tailgate will too. So minimal reduction in usage in my thinking.

That's my belief as well since anyone wanting to accomplish this has wired to the passenger side.
