I was always a Bosch supporter, till I put Icons on my 14. The windshield was not even a year old, so it was in good shape.
Immediately on the first swipe I was getting chattering in both directions.
I cleaned the windshield and even tried waxing. Nothing helped.
I returned them and bought another set. Same exact result.

So something has changed in whatever rubber compound they are using, because Bosch blade have always been great.

What I did was order the same factory Motorcraft wiper blades that came on the truck from Amazon. For a good price as well.
They worked perfectly. Nice and quiet, no streaking, no chattering, nothing.
Just cleaned the windshield like the first day off the lot.

I did buy 4 sets, because I was told Ford went with a different design in 15 and are a little skimpier than ours are. Which means they stopped producing the design we have, so stock is limited.
So I would try the factory one's and see how they work.

Default 2013 f-150 wiper motor noise after windshield replacement.

Hello, I just had my wimdshield replaced yesterday with an OEM windshield. It sat for at least 4 hours before I drove it and it was raining. There a rattling that appears to be coming from the wiper motor and not the blades on the drivers side. If the windshield is dry, I can't really hear it when I turn the wipers on but if I wet it with wiper fluid or it's raining, it make this annoying rattling noise. The tech came back out today and looked but I wasn't able to get back in time. He claimed that he didn't hear anything. I'm not imagining things. Does anyone have any thoughts? It was perfectly fine before the windshield was replaced. Thanks!

Be careful taking the blade arms completely off, there is a small silver block that locks the arm in the correct position and it is easy to not see and loose.

I paid a nationwide company to do it. I suspected that the clip may be a problem but I'm not sure. It's tight unless I raise the arm.

If you lift the arm off the windshield, how side to side movement do you have?

I'm not going to keep saying new blades are the cure all, but my girls Honda has 1,300 miles on it and the factory blades were chattering something awful in the rain.
They put another OEM set on and they wipe smooth again, like a car with 1,300 miles should be...

Default Drivers side wiper rattling

It seems to move too much when raised but I’m not a mechanic. The tech is telling me that’s normal when it’s not on the windshield.

Yeah there's definitely some normal side to side free play. Not much, maybe a strong 1/8th of an inch.

I say order the all season Motorcraft Wiper blades and see what happens.
I usually get a new windshield every other year, just because I can without it costing me a dime through my insurance. Been doing that for 20 year's.

This truck will be 4 years old and I'm stilll on the original windshield.
It wipes smooth and clean with zero stuttering.

Every other brand doesn't work as well as new oem's.
