I think it is the weather. Have the dealer take a look at it. Thanks

Make sure you use your fluid periodically even if not needed. The ethanol or methanol will evaporate over time leaving only water behind or a lower dilution and freeze.

Draw out a small amount from your washer container and place it in your freezer. If it turns slushy, it's been diluted and will screw things up.

My reservoir froze and cracked on one of my vehicles after letting 'Valvoline Quick Oil Change' top mine off.

Those plastic tanks are on the expensive side, but ya gotta have em.

I pulled the truck into the garage and let it warm up a little yesterday, the washer fluid was, indeed, freezing. Cheap stuff will come out, good stuff will go in. Thanks guys.

Look out for what jug of washer fluid is on the shelf when your're buying. I bought 2 jugs yesterday from the same row; the one I dumped into the reservoir was ok, the one I found frozen solid in the bed of the truck 4 hours later was only rated to 32*F. Never have seen that before & glad I didn't break the reservoir or pump with the wrong stuff.

Hey Einstein, should I change the summer air in my tires to winter air? **** you. I was concerned that the pump might be acting up but recognized the possibility that the fluid might be freezing up. Having never experienced this in any of my vehicles, I posted up to see if anyone else had.

i recently purchased a windsheild washer heater unit from autoanything , alpha therm is the co who makes it, works great so far, preheats your fluid within a min, only problem i had was the mounting bracket that comes with it is a universal bracket made to mount on a inner fender or firewall, no such luck with an 09 f150, so i had fab my own , works great
