2012 F150 Harley Davidson Edition 6.2L

Maybe it's the way I'm starting my truck or maybe it's something else. . . . . . . . . . . The driver side window doesn't always work. But all others do. . . . . . .THAYS NOT IT YET!!Sometimes it's the passenger window that won't operate AND sometimes it's one of the other 4 windows! This is isn't just the drivers door switch either. If the passenger window doesn't work it won't work with either that doors switch nor drivers switch. It's mainly the drivers window that does this but I'm the only one in the truck 95% of the time.now with that said, is there anyone who has the answer to help me figure this out.?.?

 

All the controls run through the driver door switch. You may have a problem there, with the switch or wiring.

 

I have replaced the switch block and the wire harness. It almost seems as if it's possibly part of the security system because I'm able to keep it from happening 90% of the time. Only thing is not 1 single ford dealership has heard of a security system doing this.

 

How do you keep it from happening?

 

I simply turn the ignition to the on position run both front windows then start the motor. If I miss a single step then either the driver window won't work and the other 5 will or the drivers window works and the other 5 won't. . . . . . . Normally I'm the 1 who gets hosed

 

Crazy. I don't have any ideas for that. Maybe your BCM has gone crazy.
