Default Window & Windsheild Tint

Currently I have 20% on my front windows to match my rear factory tinted windows.

Im thinking about going darker and also tinting the entire front windshield I just cant decide how dark to go. Is there a tint between 20% and 5%?

I was thinking of going with 35% over the rear factory tint, 5-15% on the front windows and 50% on the windshield.

Whats everybody got on there truck?

I don't know where you live but most places it's illegal to tint the windshield any more than the factory tint. A lot of folks get by with darker side windows but I think you're asking for trouble by tinting the windshield.

I have 5% on all the side windows and my whole front window is at 35%. I love it!!! every vehicle I ever owned had the same thing. Even my wife's vehicle is the same.

I didn't go as dark as you are going on the front side windows, but I have 50% on my windshield. It cuts down some of the glare, but its hardly noticeable unless you know its tinted. Night driving isn't an issue at all.

5% sides and a 50% shield will look dark with the black FX interior. If you want a clean setup that looks similar to those car commercials. 20% sides and 35% windshield also looks good. Gives silhouette effect without being too noticeable.

I have 15% on the sides, and 50% on the windshield and that's perfect for me. Looks great and makes the sides a little darker. A buddy of mine has 15 on the sides and 35 on the windshield and that is pretty dark. Its awesome during the day but its gets hard to see at night, especially when its raining, or snowing.

The last time I had a tinted windshield was 50 yrs ago when we use to tint them with the spray can tint. I also had better eyesight back then for night driving!

I'm running 20% on all the back glass and 30% on the front windows with a eyebrow strip across the windshield I believe that is also 30%. All legal in Texas. Could have gone dark on the back glass but didn't feel the need to. This is also over the factory tint. 2013 KR Screw.

Just had my windshield done with 45%. During the day, I wish I did 35%, but at night! I think it was the perfect choice, even with HIDs and LED fogs, it may have been tough seeing in the dark. Regardless, the tinted windshield really looks clean.
