I also asked for the 6.2 in my 2013 KR and was shot down. Since this is my company paid vehicle and gas is provided I could careless for the mileage it got. They gave a great deal on the Ecoboost and love it so long. It will get a couple upgrades after the factory warranty runs out......

I don't think any vehicle built after about 1990 will be a classic. Too many computer modules, wiring harnesses and software that all break down over time.

I would guess no. Unless you had some very special engine package and put virtually no miles on it. Drive it, enjoy it, and let the chips fall where they may.

Cars built in the last 15 years will last far longer than those built in the "good old days" when 100,000 miles was the end of the road without major effort. Almost any car built today will last far longer than 100k miles with only routine maintenance, likely on it's original engine and transmission.

As far as being a classic, no vehicle built in such high numbers will ever be collectible, with very rare exceptions (original mustang for example). I suspect the raptor will come the closest to collectible, simply holding good resale value.

Key word is electronics. I never said anything about engines and transmissions not lasting!
