i actually love this thing. I have a narrow two stall garage and i am always concerned about my wife dinging my truck with her car door.

That's the stupidest thing I have ever seen!!! The day everyone has something that thinks gives them the right to not care about swinging their door in the car next to them is the day that I turn 100% completely **** about NEVER parking next to anybody!

Yeah, great, Joe Schmoe and his blond wife and 3 kids can swing their doors wildly into my car and they don't chip the paint on their door edge, but mine will still end up looking like it drove across a driving range at peak time.

Note the name of it is "door EDGE protector," not "car next to you protector"

So it protects from scratches but no dents? Sounds pretty lame to me, I'd almost rather have the scratch and just touch it up.

haha, struck a nerve. Now a product that involves a blow up bubble or something to protect my vehicle from other doors and shopping carts would be useful. It would have to be unnoticeable, however, when not being used.

I hope it gets stuck in the "out" position and screws their doors up!! Justice served...

I would like this a lot. It's got to be less damaging that people chipping my door. Also, I may be very careful when I open my door, but my passengers sometimes "forget" this fact when opening their doors.
