Oh, Id be pissed too, but after I found there was no damage Id be able to get over it in an hour or so. Life is too short to lose a whole day to a little toothpaste. Now had they smashed a window and stolen your sound system I would not question your response.

Then in the morning he can cheerfully clean it off while sipping on the morning coffee (or drink of choice)
Those kids need some adult "guidance" for sure, but you know at the end of the day....you cant force people to care, so many dont these days. Kids will be kids and stuff happens. Its a Truck, and the toothpaste could have been paint.

My point is partly, that some of us act like these things are made of gold and if anything happens to the precious baby its the end of the world.

Its a truck

stuff happens

be happy theres no damage

help make it a learning moment for the kids involved instead of acting more like a baby than the babies that did the deed is my main point

or not...............................flame suit on

I have a strong issue with the phrase "kids will be kids." Not long ago (Ok, quite a while ago) I was a kid. I was raised to respect authority, whether it was my folks, law enforcement or other "grownups." A large majority of my peers were the same. It just seems that things are moving more toward "kids will be kids" and "I'd rather have my kid be my friend" and the accountability suffers.

I can tell ya, I (and most of my peer group) would have never considered doing something like this, partially because we feared the repercussions.

Ok rant over, just felt like saying that, it is simply my opinion, not intended to be a factual statement.

If you know what night this is going to happen setup a couple of infared hunting trail cameras in your driveway. Most are camouflage, easy to hide and you can get decent ones for $100 or less. This way you'll get a nice picture of them and then all you have to do is show it to the authorities unless you know the kids parents and they'll actually discipline them.

I couldn't agree with you more. The majority of parents these days don't care what their kids do once they reach a certain age and they let them run wild on the town. I use to have kids that would hit the back of my truck with eggs but it seems the new GulfCoastGunForum.com sticker I put in the back window of my truck has them thinking twice about doing it again since it hasn't happened since that sticker went on the truck! Not that I would ever shoot a kid for throwing eggs but is funny how it has stopped happening since that sticker went on the truck!

i would be pissed too. some kids went nuts on my box with a black magic marker. took me a while to get it off and all the little scratches buffed out. now it's parked right infront of my bedroom window and it's always open.
