Default Who knows SHOCKS?

2013 screw FX4 3.5L EB with AS 2 inch level. Firestone riderite airbags.
I tow a 4K trailer 15 times a year and load my bed 15 times a year with 1k lbs.

The rest of the time it is a daily driver.

I want to have a smoother ride (especially over washboard). I want it to feel good in turns and not feel mushy. I want to keep my level exactly where it is and still want to manage the loads I described above.

What shocks would you suggest and what price should I expect to pay?

I suggest a hellwig rear sway bar. Mushy in turns will cease to exist. There is a big thread on them. Unbelievable difference. Made bigger difference for me than bilsteins did.

Thanks for this. My biggest concern is the rough ride. Feels like the doors are gonna shake of when going over washboard.
30k on stock shocks.

Double on that.

I'm running Rancho 9000s, and while they helped, it took that sway bar to make the rear end right. Easy, no-drill install.

I don't want to say it turns like a car now, but it is far more controlled in how it rides.

Rough riding can be fixed with softer shocks. Low pressure shocks would prob help you with that over stiff ones (hydraulic vs gas shock) -->>> only potential issue is fading/foaming with hydraulic shocks - I've never had an issue, and I've done a washboard road or two at 40

no organization to my thoughts right now

I just put the Boss Coil overs on my truck, and I can tell you the difference between these and stock with a spacer is dramatic.. so smooth now. I can highly recommend from my personal perspective.

Would you make me sharing the exact part number or exact link to where you got these?
And cost?
Thank you

$799 a pair at Stage 3 motorsports

The Fox's are a better off road product - but for daily driving and occasional offroad I love the Boss's ..

Mushy when loaded? Or mushy when empty?

I got Bikstein. 5100s, all four for $350 shipped.

It changed the ride dramatically for me, the 1970's caddy with blown shocks feel was gone. In its place a was a more firm, controlled ride. Less brake dive, body roll, and no more *** end kicking at when going over stuff like washboard.

Sorry, not mushy now. Now it's pretty rough. I'm looking for a softer ride over bumps and washboard without turning it into a boat
