2010 Screw - Only experienced the hard 1-2-1 shift once, when relatively new & low miles. Now 10k no issues , runs great.

What to know my theory? Probably not but I'm telling it anyhow. lol Ford test this tranny for 150,000 of extreem abuse and it held up. So the techs thought it shifted fine under abuse. But they forgot to test it for people that baby there trucks. Me I dont beet on it every day but once I'n a while I do and it shifts good. (- the lag when i put the hammer down) ps like other people said there's always a few bad apples on the tree u cant get then all perfect! 2010 f150 5.4l

i got mine about 2 months ago it now has 42,000 miles on it i haven't had any issues with the tranny. only complaint here is that on the long trips (8+ hours) damn thing puts my family to sleep.

8500 Miles here on a 2010 F150 3v V8. No issues what so ever. Doing just wonderful. This is my First F150, but not my first Ford, this is number 12 from Ford. Like some one previously posted, they sure do not make them like they used to, they have gotten better with each one for me over the last 35 years.
