No problems so far 5400mi. I get on the throttle and it gets up an goes great.
It does suck for the people having real problems.

Like Jeter, I have the very occasional hard 1-2 shift but it is more due to the throttle position (ie the operator). I think the computer is expecting me to be still 'on it' when it shifts and I have let off around the same time. I'd bet dollars to dougnuts (and I like doughnuts) if I was still 'on it' I wouldn't feel the shift

My new 2011 FX4 is smooth. But still very new so good start so far

Like I said in another thread. Most F150s are fine and only a minuet amount of owners go on Forums. Owners with issues are more likely to hit forums to vent about their issues (tranny, etc) while the vast majority do not go onto forums at all.

So with a small pool of people venting about their issue on the same board may make the issue appear bigger than it really is. Does not mean there is not an issue but typically is blown out of proportion through perception.

My 2010 FX4 Screw is fine. I have gotton to 1-2 2-1 issue on occasion. But I blame that on "around town" driving. Highway driving is fine. Very smooth. Had it for 6 months now, with 8000kms (5000 miles) on it

2011 FX4 ok. 2010 FX4 ok. 2010 Platinum ok. 2009 XTR had 1st bad shift with codes/check engine just a week ago. TSB listed for that one, will get it checked out. It's also the only one with lift and big tires.

2010, 4.6, XLT, 2WD Supercab, September build with 5000 miles on it.

No problems with the trans and the 4.6 gets up and goes pretty good - seems like a nice little motor as long as you're not expecting to haul lake freighters out of the water with it.

Daily driver for 6 months now and no complaints about anything so far.

My only concern right now is how well all the electronic crap will hold up 10-15 years down the road.
