Driver and passenger sides have a large rubber grommet where bulk wiring harnesses go thru, you can punch thru either one just to the side of the harnesses.

Like RNL said, there 1 on each d.s. and p.s.! Just take a razor knife and make a slice just big enoug in one of the nipples to get your wiring through.

You should be able to pull out and remove the rubber grommet, then make your hole then replace. Easy

Im looking at running some wires through this grommet as well but am concerned with the temperature the wires would be exposed too considering the engine is not far from the grommet itself. Anyone who has done this able to chime in on the life span of any wires going through this grommet?

I've had wires, & added more wires to both grommets. Been over 2 years & no issues. Besides, there are other wires from our OEM harness running through the middle of these. I don't think there will be any issues at all.

The same life span as the wires already going through there.

Take a look at it for yourself. They didn't use any special wires. They did wrap them with loom though. So you should use a heat resistant loom as well.

okay that's kind of what I figured too but thought I'd check. I also think I was looking at the grommet located lower down behind the brake/gas pedals, which has nothing running through it yet. I will use one that has wires going through already. Thanks again

I run my plastic tube for the boost gauge through the grommet on the d.s. I use a length of heat shielding to cover the tubing. Can be used for wiring as well. Then I used a stainless wire clamp to hold it against the firewall.

You could also get some Teflon wiring, it's good for 200ēC... it ain't cheap though.
