I thought I read somewhere that some of the '09 year trucks had rubber guards over the front struts that covered the gaping hole into the engine compartment. Has anyone tried adding something like that to their front wheel wells? I take my truck off road constantly, and the engine bay is always getting soaked/muddy/slushy/snowy. I'm thinking of curring some semi-rigid guards and maybe riveting them in there...
