Default 2 Questions

I have a 2010 Supercrew Lariat.
The only 2 things i would like to change are:

1- I would like to be able to turn on reverse camera in drive.
I have the non nav unit with oem camera in rearview mirror.

2- I would like to turn off the seatbelt alarm if possible.
(I know I should be wearing it all the time but .......)

Anyone know how to make these 2 minor items a reality ?

Not sure about the rear-view camera operating while in Drive, but there are some after-market products that allow you to switch into those mode I believe. There have been a few posts about this in the past.

As for disabling the seat belt reminder, it's in your owner's manual. Just make sure that when you are disabling the passenger side that you are actually sitting in the passenger seat or else it won't work.

Thanks for the seatbelt info. I must have overlooked it in the manual.

The only aftermarket devices i've found only seem to work with the navigation package.

Sorry, you're correct, all of the posts that I have seen to date on engaging the rearview camera while driving have been for the navi unit.

That is exactly why i want to do it. I don't want it on all the time just to check out a small trailer that cant be seen through the mirrors.
