I just recently upgraded to a new 2013 F-150 FX4 in Blue Flame.

I am picking up some new wheels and tires next week... I have two choices in mind, and looking for some insight from others what they think will be best...

First is a XD Rockstar 2 with paint to match star and POSSIBLY paint to match inserts...



Or a BMF Novakane in Death Metal...



My holdbacks on both are that the Rockstar 2 will become over popular like the orginal.. But with the BMF I worry about the finish as I live in MO and I ride with them year road and in the snow..

Any opinions?

 

Get the BMFs. The Rockstar 2s are an eye sore. I do believe you could get a clear coat type sprayed over the BMFs so the finish doesnt get killed.

Thats what I am afraid of.. I think they look great... but before long will earn the same rep as the original rockstars.

 

I think the originals look better than the #2's.
I vote for the BMFs.

I personally like the way chrome wheels look on the blue flame trucks i have seen. Idk why.

 

Probably because I've only seen them on 4 trucks out here in the boonies. You city slickers have probably seen thousands of them.

 

I agree with the chrome on the blue. Check out the Worx wheels in chrome.
