found this attached to my exhaust ...the little green thing ...what is it and what does it do...

I upgraded mine to an aftermarket blue with CAI bearings. Added 10 HP and 3 MPGs.

its supposed to reduce exhaust drone from exhaust by absorbing the vibratory tones being passed back toward the engine. My guess is that it didn't work well, because I don't have one on my late build 2010 and they now use a resonator before the muffler.
