Personally, I keep a large Lottery ticket in it to use as a movable extension of the woefully undersized sun visor.
You know the sun visor slides on the bracket, right?

Until the other day when one of my friends asked about it I hadn't really noticed it. I think it'll be a good place to store the ticket you get when you park at the airport. Other than that, I'm not really sure what to use it for, but I'm sure I'll find a use for it. I wasn't sure what to do with the little "shelf/indention" by the steering wheel (where the trailer brake controller goes, but I don't have a TBC so it's just a little pocket) either, but I discovered that it's a good place to put my iPhone so I'm sure I'll find a creative use for the visor clip eventually also. I have seen some of my friends keep their licenses or military IDs around the visor area in their older cars that don't have visor clips, so maybe they could use it for that if they had one, although I would personally never leave my ID there.

I thought I read somewhere about the hooks for the grocery bags. So those hooks are under the rear seat? No wonder I was having such a hard time hanging more than one bag from the visor.
