Thinking of getting bumpers painted to match the silver stripe on sides and the grill to match the grey maybe even getting the bars in the grill silver

I was debating the same thing I decided to get rims to tie it all together. Not a big fan if the lariat two tone look

I'm with you, paint to match the bumpers ingot silver, and the grill surround sterling gray. Only suggestion I would make is leave the grill bars chrome.

X2 I think it would look great this way. I'm trying to decided right now as well if I want get my bumpers painted.

I find the chrome stands up MUCH better to scratches and blemishes then a painted surface. Kind of a downgrade to get painted bumpers, seems to be a trend to paint/black everything out.

Very true. It's kinda like form over function. I already have a couple little boo-boos on my Plat front bumper. But I still like the looks so I gotta deal with the downside.
