I have a real problem with the head rest inthe 2009 F150 Supercrew.
I can't see around the passenger seat. I find this to be a real safety issue for myself. I'm constantly over looking which is necessary
in order to see what is to the right of me.
I have nearly been in an accident several times because of the head rest on the passenger side in the front seat. I've had to remove it which real makes my Ford look horrible. This was a poor choice made by Ford company.......... Thank You, Kori

Sorry for the quip Kori. Just too many years driving a truck. Seriously, the spot mirrors will help you see things that are in your blind spots. The supercrew is too big to drive like you would in a car.

I've read this to be a problem for many other 2009 Ford F 150
Supercrew owners. It is difficult also for the driver to sit in the drivers seat without reclining the seat in another uncomfortable Position. Ford needs to make a recall "Replacement" HEAD REST without the arch and in a shorter
model so the driver is able to see over the passengers seat.
This would allow there to be no
Abstruction to your view of oncoming traffic.
Thank You, Kori

"The front headrests have been redesigned based on customer feedback. They sit about a half-inch farther back and use a new foam material."

I really like the truck's ride, it's quiet. Like the Rear Camera.
Dislikes: One major one - it's payload is limited which in turn limits the size of Travel trailer I can pull. Which is why I purchase it. While the towing guide indicates my F150 can pull a 11,200 Trailer and has a GCVW of 17,100, the weak link is the Max Payload as listed on the Tread Act Sticker on the Driver's door. Mine indicates the max payload is 1096 lbs, that is any cargo and passengers and tongue weight, not the advertised 1560 lbs.
So my Truck has a GVWR of 7200 (Vin Sticker on the d door). I weighed my Truck with ONLY me in it (190 lbs) and a full tank of fuel .... 6320 lbs, that leaves me 880 lbs for passengers, cargo and Trailer Tongue weight.
I guess to but it into a different perspective - my wife's 07 Prius (Hybrid) has a Payload/Cargo rating of 881 lb rating listed on her Door Tread Act Sticker. My F150's is 1096 so the Truck can carry 215 pounds more than a 07 Prius.
While this is a dislike and big for me - it isn't just a Ford F150 problem, GM, Dodge, and Toy all do the numbers the same way List the MAX Possible based on the weight of a base model with no options.
09 F150's actual payloads vary from 3030 (Standard Cab/Standard Bed) F150 with the Max Payload option (GVWR - 8200) and NO OPTIONS down to only 884lbs for some Platinums SCREW with the 6.5 box and lots of options.

Likes...2010 body style, smooth ride, roomy and comfortable in the cab, nice to know you have all those airbags, I like the od button
Dislikes...4.6 2v low on power, rubber carpets, turn signals on mirrors should be standard, black plastic ring around the door lock that popes up when you open the door drops out from time to time but an easy fix .
That said i'm loving the truck

2009 Lariat SC - 23,000km
Overall really like the truck.
Likes:
-The look of the truck is awesome
-The interior is better looking than any other truck, is well laid out, everything is where it should be
-Comfortable seats (could use a little more side bolstering)
-Decent power and mileage for its size and weight
-Sync and Sony stereo
Dislikes:
-OEM GY SRA tires are ****
-Needs a shiftable automatic, as this is my first auto and I still miss the control; this thing wants to shift to the highest gear right away
-Door detents = fully open, the doors are way out there, the detent doesn't hold the door quite far enough open nor does it hold very well (a slight bump and your door could swing into a vehicle next to you
-Drive by wire is odd
-Chromed plastic wheels

Like: alot of people complained about the extra room. Im 6'5 i used to drive a honda civic so im lovin all the room my trucks got thats just ONE reason why i purchased it over any other truck, a lot of other likes to
Dislike: only thing that could have been better is it coming with a bed liner when i bought it, but doesn't matter know as i have bought one...then again it did come with a car starter which would have been more expensive to get

Love most things about the truck except:
- The drivers side window is only auto down (come on Ford, my '02 Altima has auto up and down on both front windows
- The SportsTrac has a larger opening on the rear window
- No telescoping steering wheel
- And finally, pulling up beside a Dodge Hemi and hearing the rumble of dual 3 inch exhaust (well that's why I'm getting Flowmasters )
- And remote start and/or push button start...I can get it in a 2010 Focus...(After market here I come)
