Default What do you like / dislike about your new truck?

I just got a 2009 F-150 XLT SCREW; the dealer installed ford leather & heated seats . So my question to you is, what are your favorite & least favorite things about your truck?

Likes:
Everything. Size, room, color, looks.
Sync is awesome (blackberry & ipod works well with it)
SAFETY is big on my list
The new sporty look.
Leather is awesome.

Dislikes:
Size - I can't park in my parking garage at work (too tall)
3.31 gears...oh well.
Didn't get a bed liner, I'll have one installed
Engine is a little slow for my taste but I think its my gears.

My only real dislike would be the size, I'm 6'6 and still have maybe 6" of headroom left in the cab. Ford didn't have to make it as tall as they did, but it looks better being that tall. Just kinda upset that I can't park at work anymore.

Anybody else?

In gneral I really like my truck. The three things that kind of irk me (especially over the 07 I had) are that the seat belts are in the rear doors, so now the front passenger has to unbuckle if a read passenger gets in, The main cabin light is moved back just far enough to not be within easy reach of either front passenger, or small rear passengers, and lastly, they moved the jack under the larger section of the rear seat (on a super cab) so now that you can't maximize flat floor load if you have one rear passenger. Whey they switched the jack, I don't know but it was perfect before.

??? In the Screw? Mine are in the B pillars.

I've had my 09' XLT Screw a couple of weeks now. It tows so much better than my 98' XLT, I cant even remotely criticize the 09's power. Tows my 5,000 pound travel trailer and my Boston Whaler like they're not even there.

So far, very minor gripes. The plastic fuel door just seems cheap. The factory floor mats are a joke. One step up from the paper mat they put down for service. Wish I had power fold for the tow mirrors.

I agree on the power fold for the mirrors. You need to get a set of mats from the FX4 - they are great.

I like carpeted mats. The FX4 are rubber, right?

I'll probably get a set of molded carpeted Catch-Alls. I had them in my old F150 and I've got them in my Tahoe. I really like them a lot.

I have thought real hard before answering this question. I have had my truck for 5 weeks and 2,200 miles and can't find any dislikes. Sure I would like 25 MPG or 0-60 in 5 secends, but seriously, it's more then I expected. And keep in mind, my last vehicle was a Lexus IS 350.

Great job Ford.

It's going to be really hard finding anything about this truck that I don't like. Especially after putting 230K on my old 97 F150.

I guess if I must cite something, it would be the brake dust on the front wheels. But, that can be easily corrected with new shoes.

i'm with metroins about the height... but funnily enough my problem is actually the hood height i guess... my antenna drags on half the support beams so i can't park in my work garage.

so for now i'm parking outside, but i guess when the hail comes, i'll just take the antenna off.
