Canadian MSRP: $50950.00

Out the door (taxes, financing including interest cost for term of financing, misc fees, in other words, real out the door price): $50019.00 Can.

We are just getting raped up here. A platinum is well into the $60K range, it would be easy to get into the $70K range. So much for a dollar that's at par.

I got a loaded FX4 for the same price (402a, appearance pkg, moonroof, box liner, 3m, tailgate step, taxes, fees, out the door) $50,200 here in Alberta. MRSP was $62k. Did the dealer even take the $7500 delivery allowance off for you? Or was it not on when you bought. I got $6000 off the MRSP without even asking plus the delivery allowance.

When pricing is concerned financing is, or should NEVER be considered as different people will have different credit scores.

OTD price is what they gave you on trade or down payment less any factory discounts, taxes, title, license fees. Sticker on my truck was 38 thousand I walked OTD for 29.9k usd.

Yeah, they have a lariat here at 55k, but no max tow. I think of OTD as a bit different I guess. I generally factor in the full cost at the end of 5 years. The sell price after deals was $38K. Just checked the paperwork, MSRP $50,509, sell price 38,396. This sounds better to me, also when I used the ford.ca build your own, the MSRP came up over $56K for my truck. So it is what it is, can't go back now and ask for a better deal. I was kinda screwed on my trade in to, just about a year old. So I lost a bit there too.

OTD price and monthly payment are completely irrelevant with different states and sales tax as well as credit scores and interest rates. When someone asks what you are paying the only two relevant things are MSRP and negotiated price. Trades, money down, taxes and tags are in addition or subtraction to the negotiated sale price of the truck. Nobody cares if someone had a MSRP of 50K and put 30K down and your OTD price is 20K.

I know what U mean. I called a dealer in Bellingham and I was told CDN buys don't get any factory rebates. But they can sell to us Canadians.

2013 FX4 screw, 6.5 bed, 402A equipment group, 3.73 gears, bed liner and tailgate step. Somewhere around $48,500 was msrp + dealer installed options. They went down to $38,500 but I said $37,000. We ended up at $37,250. With ttl it was right around $40,000. Making 3 payments then it gets paid off on the 4th payment. Can't wait!

You guys are getting my hopes up.
I drove a fx4 this morning pretty loaded up with the 5.0 and they have the $4k cash off if I go with the ford financing for min 3 months. If I can some how get them down $6-7K as well I will more than likely have a new truck. The sales guy said I get X plan because of company I work for but I am not sure if that is below invoice or not, memory serves people usually negotiate better than that on their own.

2013 FX2, 402A package, spray in liner, Nav, FX wheels MSRP of 45240.

Negotiated to 33988

After trade +TTL, OTD price was 29K.

I am getting ready to ReFi with DATCU @ 1.9 to get rid of the Ford 6.99.

Salesmen get a set amount of money per car sold regardless of the final price, it falls to the sales manager to make the profit margin for the dealership. You can ask salesman for whatever you want and they will propose it to the manager. Know your enemy waste their time and you will usually get the best deal that dealership can offer based on their sales volume and such.
