Default What did you pay (in 2013) for your new F150?

Just curious, have been watching prices for the last few months. I almost pulled the trigger on a F250 diesel as the rebates on the F150 were always for the 5.0 only and I will use to tow so wanted the nice torque curve of EB.

Then as I am at the dealer Saturday to buy an F250, best I can get down on a 2013 is around 8k off sticker, and he said they pulled the rebates on the 2012.

Come to find out they now have 5k in rebates on the Ecoboost XLT (again had virtually none just a while ago). That put me about 9k off sticker price for the 2013 F150, and the difference between the two, with more gear on the 150, was about 12,500 bucks....which is huge.

So, does 35k seem reasonable for Screw XLT with the 402A (all the goodies camera, sensors, chrome, etc), some upgrades tires, Max tow, and off road pack sound like a deal? The sticker says 46,800 or so before the 1750 package discount of 1,750.

Any ideas on the sudden incentives for the ecoboost?

Thanks

I already priced a new one,,, supercab 4x4 STX 5.0 is less money than the exact same truck with the 3.7 V6, but the 3.5 EB is $4000 more STX SC 5.0 $27,500,,, STX SC 3.7 $28,700... I would wait a little longer cause as gas prices go up they will drop the pickup prices (June -July is a great time to buy a new truck cause dealers are desperate to get rid of of this years models so they can bring in next years models)

MSRP $47555, OTD price was $37150 (would have been $300 less, but the dealer couldn't remove the plastic bedliner, since the truck was a dealer trade).

Ive been searching/pricing for months, just now finally decided what I'm going to get, just have to pull the trigger. You can get a new 2013 lariat, fully loaded or mostly loaded for 35K-37K. Thats roughly 8-10K of msrp. You will have taxes and all after that. This seems pretty consistent for all the dealerships in atlanta.

msrp just over $50,000, talked them down to $1,000 below invoice on a special order. It ended up being $40,488 with 2" level kit and front window tint installed.

How does anyone get better then invoice on a vehicle (not including family plan etc)?

Dealers in NJ will let you walk if you ask for anything more. 8-10k off MSRP even with the current rebates is dreamland around here. I can assume in some instances the dealer beats the buyer real bad on the trade but I can't think that is for every deal.

What is the secret? I would pay someone $250 to get me 1k below invoice on a new vehicle.

I signed on with PenFed to start. Their participating dealers were automatic $5K off MSRP on my vehicle. Then you negotiate a few more thousand, then apply the Ford incentives, rebates.

if you have local dealers that are not willing to negotiate, buy the truck from a dealer out of state that will.

The best I got on my F150 was $100 under invoice plus the incentives. But that only works out to about $5500 off MSRP not this unbelievable 8-10k.
With those numbers off MSRP I should be running around in a Raptor for only 2-3k more then I paid for my XLT.

If you are willing to travel you can do a little better - 25% off MSRP. PM me and I can give you the number of the salesman I worked with. Surprisingly there were no catches.
